I am extremely happy with my new electric yard for my chooks! Rosemary went above and beyond with helping me select the most suitable products for my hens, delivery was extremely quick and the products are all of an excellent quality. We are feeling very lucky and blessed to have one of @eddsmoveablechooksheds latest creations. After first seeing them a few years ago, owning one of these beauties has been on the to do list for quite a while.
Five years ago, we lost our designer flock of rainbow layers that we’d created by cross breeding Araucanas and Barnvelders – Araucana’s for egg colour and temperament, and Barnvelder for size, health, and stamina. They laid beautiful large spotty green eggs. A fox decimated them all.
Now we are rebuilding our flock, it became super important to ensure their safety whilst allowing them to still free range. We thought about a Royal Rooster or an Eglu Omlet chicken tractor, but because of the big size of our pasture those solutions just didn’t make sense.
So we now have an Edd’s moveable chicken tractor with 50m electric netting and solar energizer, to deter any foxes that come near to our free ranging ladies, and also keep our chicken friends in the orchard and off the veggie patch and verandah!
So far, the tractor seems very well made, solid, and tows well! The droppings fall right through, so we are all looking forward to no more mucking out of the chook shed on weekends! The wire certainly gives us a zap so hopefully it gives any cheeky foxes a zap too!
Our shopping list for a chook shed included: fox proof, moveable, cool in summer, clean egg collection, mesh floor, easy clean. You answered all our needs. Can’t wait to see what the chook family think of it!⠀

What a wonderful experience, fantastic customer service, polite, and punctual. Was happy to deliver the moveable chook house interstate. We ordered it on a Saturday and was delivered on the Friday. Cannot recommend this product and craftsmanship more highly. A cost effective alternative to traditional coups on wheels that are currently on the market.

The 15 bird shed has been the perfect addition to our hobby farm.
Our girls were right at home within days and the security fencing with solar energiser gives us complete peace of mind that they are safe. There is plenty of space for them to roam around and as a result we have happy and productive hens.

A couple of months ago we had a huge brand land on it and it bounced back like new after the chainsaw got it off.

We run a farm animal rescue sanctuary and use the electric poultry mesh for all our animals who are vulnerable to predators. We have used it for ducks, geese, lambs and chickens. This product keeps all our animals safe, is easy to install and is very reasonably priced
